Privacy statement

This statement explains how ADWI Finance B.V. handles personal data: of visitors to this website, of firms we work with, and of our staff and candidates in the ADWI Academy.

Who we are

ADWI Finance B.V. is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this statement. We are based at Heliumstraat 36, 2718 SL Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42133629.

We have not appointed a data protection officer. Questions about privacy go to info@adwifinance.nl.

Which data we process

From visitors to this website we process only what you enter in the contact form yourself: your name, email address, the name of your firm and the content of your message. The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or marketing tools.

From firms we work with we process the contact details of your staff and, on your instructions, the data of your clients that our colleagues work with. For that client data you are the controller and we are the processor; the arrangements are set out in the data processing agreement.

What we use data for

Data from the contact form is used to reply to your message and arrange an introduction. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your question.

Data of firms we work with is used to carry out the agreement: arranging the cooperation, invoicing and keeping in touch. The legal basis is the agreement.

ADWI Academy

We run an online training for our staff and candidates, the ADWI Academy. For this we process name, email address, an encrypted password, login times and failed logins, progress per chapter and module, answers and scores of exams and case studies, feedback from our reviewers, the emails the Academy sends and a coded form of the IP address at login and other actions.

We use this data to provide the training, follow progress, assess whether someone is ready to start at a client firm and keep the Academy secure. The legal basis is the agreement we have or are preparing with the participant, and our legitimate interest in security. The system calculates the score; a person at ADWI always decides whether someone starts at a client firm.

Data outside the European Union

Our colleagues work from Indonesia. Indonesia is outside the European Union and has no adequacy decision from the European Commission. The arrangements and measures that apply to the data of your firm and your clients are set out in the data processing agreement and in standard contractual clauses (SCCs). We conclude these before a cooperation starts.

Retention and sharing

Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to handle your question. Academy accounts and results are deleted after the cooperation or the selection ends. The Academy log is kept for 24 months and the emails sent for 12 months.

We only share data with parties who help us deliver our services: our hosting provider, our email provider and KB365, which builds and manages the website and the Academy. We have a data processing agreement with each of them. We do not sell data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing, to object, and to receive your data in a usable file. Send your request to info@adwifinance.nl; we reply within a month. If we cannot resolve the matter together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
